"Zoe is a key reason why our research project has been a huge success. Zoe brings so many important skills and mindsets to work settings: enthusiasm, curiosity, impressive communication, and people skills, tech-savvy, contentiousness, intelligence, and the ability to stay organized. These skills translate to a wide range of contexts; you would be lucky to have Zoe on your team or project!"

"It is my pleasure to write in support of Zoe Garden. I have known Zoe since the fall of 2020. At that time, she started working under my supervision on a research project at the University of Michigan Library. The project goal is to explore how U-M students think and feel about the Library's collection, storage, and use of data about Library patrons. Zoe quickly did a lot of learning about the Library's data practices. She then worked with me and one other student to design a study to explore our research questions. She was instrumental in designing an interview protocol that we used to interview U-M undergraduate students over Zoom. Zoe took a lead role in recruiting students to participate in the interviews and was also in a lead role in conducting the interviews. Zoe is now analyzing and reporting on the data we collected. Further, she has been a lead presenter on two occasions where findings from our research project have been shared with others. Zoe has been a delight to work with. She is smart, creative, intrinsically motivated, and reliable. One example of Zoe’s intrinsic motivation is how she seeks out articles related to data privacy issues – an issue connected to our research – and shares them with the rest of our team. Zoe is kind, funny, and possesses very strong social skills. She is consistently ready for our weekly meetings, and if things need to be done before or after a meeting I know Zoe will follow through. I have no hesitations in recommending Zoe."
